EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I contacted SST by email and received a reply the same day; all of my questions were answered and they worked with my family’s full time work schedule. I was able to schedule my appointment about three weeks out and even though I lived nearly 125 from the corporate office, my install guys were at my house early! They called to confirm my address and arrival time prior to the morning of and were super professional when they arrived. Both guys helped me move items out of my garage and kept the garage clean and orderly throughout the entire process. The job took only about 4 ½ hours. The machine they used made a small dent on the garage trimming but they contacted my builder and made arrangements at their cost to repair. WOW!!!“

We wanted to drop a note to you to let you know how pleased we are with our new storm shelter and the peace of mind we have now knowing we have a safe place to go in the event of strong storms or tornados. Our home is on a hill that is on one of the (if not the) highest elevation points in our county and needless to say the wind can be a little strong at times. We have lived here for 20 years and have experienced damage to our home and property several times as have our neighbors. We have never really felt we had a safe place in our 2 story home since the down stairs center room is a pantry under the stairs but with a door facing 3 large bay (ceiling to floor) windows. My name is Dwight Waddell, and I am resident of Oxford MS. I have come to your company by referral of Scott Owens another Oxford resident who had you guys install a safe room-shelter in his house a couple of years ago. He reported your prompt, courteous professionalism in both the initial consultation and the actual installation of the safe room. My family has been awarded a MEMA grant to help us secure a safe room, and I am hoping we might talk this week about the proper procedures to install and process the grant. I hope the fact that I am not in TN is still not an impediment. The installation and all paperwork associated with the installation has to be returned to submitted to MEMA by the end of March. Sounds like a long time, but after school starts here at Ole Miss, time has a tendency to fly, and I don't want to be late with all this.

You folks installed my shelter in Nashville a few months ago. WHAT A JOB YOU DID! I had expected a mess an ordeal. Your guys came in late one afternoon for a couple of hours and were gone after only a couple of hours. I’m very happy with every part of my dealings with you. So much so that I am recommending you to friends and family.

I am a member of a Community Neighborhood Emergency Response Team. We are trained to respond for rescue and aid before officials can get there and at large emergencies. Obviously we are each very aware of the dangers around us. At our next meeting (about two weeks) I am doing a presentation about the need/benefit of a storm shelter and about mine in particular. It is also our holiday celebration so I expect good attendance. I cannot do this without bragging and recommending you folks. I’m even inviting those that are interested over afterwards to see mine. I do have a question……on the website it states that you will notify a national and local database with regard to the GPS. Are you going to do that, or is that my responsibility?

The tornadoes that devastated Ringgold, GA and Apison, TN this year were close enough to home to finally get our attention. Our home could be demolished and we could be seriously injured or killed in the process. What to do? I Googled “tornado/storm shelters” and, fortunately, came up with Storm Shelters of Tennessee (SST). I looked at SST’s website and then gave them a call. The person I spoke with, Rhonda, really knew what she was talking about and within minutes I had pricing and installation schedules. SST is headquartered in Jackson, TN and I live in the Chattanooga area so I had to pay extra for the installers to travel across the state – but it was worth it. Richard and Melissa installed our in-ground (i.e., in the floor of our garage) shelter in about eight hours and left our garage and adjoining property cleaner than they were before the two arrived. I hope I never have to use the shelter but after seeing the quality of the shelter, the professionalism of its installation, and the features demonstrated by Richard I’m confident that my wife and I can “weather” any tornado that comes along. I strongly recommend anyone considering the purchase and installation of a tornado/storm shelter consider SST as the provider.

After researching a dozen different companies, we chose Storm Shelters of Tennessee and we could not be happier with our decision. The customer service was excellent throughout the entire process.
